The second tool released today is an uninstaller for the LAME encoder. A number of people requested it, so here it is.
July 11, 2007: LameLure 1.0
Today I released two tools, and this was the first. LameLure is intended to make Blacktree's iTunes-LAME plug-in use the latest LAME encoder as available from this site.
November 11, 2006: LAME Audio Encoder 3.97
Just when I had released the Universal Binaries a few days ago, I checked the official LAME site and discovered that they went final last September. Shame on me! So here it is...
November 8, 2006: LAME Encoder now delivered as a Universal Binary
As of today, the downloads for the LAME encoder have been built as Universal Binaries, so they will run natively on both PowerPC and Intel based Mac OS X machines. The PowerPC side has been optimized for G5 processors, and requires at least a G4. See the product page for a free download.
